Eelco Vogt is Professor, Heterogeneous Industrial Catalysis at Utrecht University. He has worked for over 30 years at Akzo Nobel Catalysts/Albemarle Catalysts, focusing on Fluid Catalytic Cracking, Hydroprocessing, Solid Acid Alkylation, and various other refinery catalytic processes and catalysts. He is one of the initiators and co-authors of the roadmap Catalysis—Key to a sustainable future (2015), and the technology roadmap Making Sustainable Chemical Products (2015) for the NWO program council Chemical Conversion, Process Technology and Synthesis, which he chaired at the time. He is currently focusing on the conversion of refinery processes for a fossil-free future.
